There are no influential leftists in America. Oh sure, there's a few pinko writers and professors here and there that could be described as leftist, people like Noam Chomsky, or Angela Davis (yep, she's still working!) but no major political party or influential group or organization with any clout at all that could really make things happen exists on the left. I know you won't agree with that, but that's my opinion.
C'mon Tom. I'll be the first to admit I'm to your left, but now that we've had enough time to really evaluate each other, can you actually deny, with a straight face, that I'm a lot closer to the center of the political spectrum than you are?
