And many others. The minute a politician says "here are the rules that say who can participate in this market," you're in the soup. Remember, we're not talking about safety regulations here. We're talking about political power picking the winners, and crony capitalism forcing out competition.

Sure, a lot of "capitalists" want to be in the seat on the right of the government throne. Hell, the entire "green industry" market is operating like this right now. The key is a system that doesn't leave channels for that to happen, same as a good system of government restrains the kind of politicians who wouldn't mind this being a single party Soviet-style nation.

I wish you had taken the time to actually think about that article "The Fall of the United States."
