The anointed Republican - who pulled out and endorsed the Democrat - pulled in five percent of the vote. I have no idea how many ballots were voted ahead of time or by mail. So if I were the Democrats, I wouldn't plant a flag on that little hill just yet.

It's interesting that Democrats are the ones talking the loudest about running RINOs as the secret to Republican success. You'd think that if this was true, they'd keep quiet about it, or encourage Republicans to run conservative candidates.
