stock market question
According to my Yahoo DJIA chart, there was a sudden hiatus in trading between 10 and 11 ET today. It followed a preciptous 150 pt drop in stock prices during the first morning hour, and trading resumed at eleven with a gradual rise during the rest of the day of about 60 points. Was there a power failure on Wall Street, or was trading suspended for an hour until the market had a chance to stabilize after a really bad start?
