This afternoon I had a strange thing happen with my HD TV. I live in the Los Angeles area and Channel 2.1 disappeared. I checked all the other channels and they were fine. I checked out the Analog to Digital TV converter boxes I use in 2 other rooms in the house and they both were receiving it just fine. The Directv had channel 2 just fine, though not HD as I don’t subscribe to Directv HD package…. Yet. I called my brother who has the same brand of TV that I do, Sharp, and his wasn’t receiving 2.1 either. However his Tivo HD tuner did receive it.. We are wondering if this is peculiar to the Sharp brand of TV, Did the station do some sort of change in their signal that affected the Sharp TVs in the area. I noticed it around 3:30 pm and at precisely at 4:00 pm it came back on, and works fine now. Is there anyone in the LA area that noticed anything like this? Is there anyone who has any idea what was going on?
