For starters, tally up how much of government is dedicated to "helping big business" and how much is dedicated to raw wealth redistribution to buy politicians their power. You can use round billions.

Reality check on political influence: The top donors are here. Note who most of them are, and who gets almost all of their money. Not a lot of "elephants" on that chart, are there?

Go back and track who created the government structures and regulations Baker moans about, and why. Look at the history of the Federal Reserve, the FDA, and all the rest. As an exercise, make a list of all the big Federal regulatory agencies and centralized control systems created by conservatives.

Bonus points for analyzing which political entities are busting their butts to make the government even more powerful and even more in control of our economy than they are now.

Your economic views are very simpleminded. For all your lecturing on how corporations (which you somehow conflate with "conservatives") are the root of all evil, it doesn't stand up.
