It proves our argument.
Government is all about power. Power corrupts and intoxicates anyone who tastes it. This is why we want smaller and less powerful government. The only way for leaders to be held accountable is for them to live close by the people they wish to screw over.
Political power should be concentrated at the city and county level, but rapidly lose power the further away it's based. State government should be nothing more than a coordinating body among the counties, and the federal government nothing more that a coordinating body among the states. Their actions should have very little impact on the day to day lives of The People.
