Under those circumstances, it is almost impossible to accurately address your question. I certainly have more in common with the average people at these events than with the psychotics the left routinely deploys.

The conservative protests I saw and read about were cleaner, more civilized, and less violent than almost any major leftist protest I saw during the Bush years (or Reagan years, come to that). There were no cars tipped, no windows broken, no calls for the death of the President. There were no inflated scrotums, nudity, burning effigies, thrown paint, or giant paper-mache puppets.

If lying about the administration was "sedition," no leftist would be walking free. If carrying a legal weapon were "sedition," a lot of other people would be joining them in the hoosegow.

I'm sorry things aren't going well for the Left. They are screwed right now on about a dozen separate fronts.

Try and focus: You lost Kennedy's seat in Massachusetts. You might be able to ignore Virginia and New Jersey, but you know in your bones that this particular election wasn't about your delusions of mindless redneck troglodytes.

While the Democrats are putting a brave face on it, we are going to see a load of sudden "retirements" as the Party tries desperately to replace known losers (already targeted by voters for metaphorical tar and feathers) with relative unknowns that voters have yet to find out about. There have already been a few cases of this.
