Look at receipts and look at spending. What do you conclude happened under the Bush administration?
Look at deficits as percentages of GDP compared to the Reagan era and the WWII era. What does that tell you about where we are now from a historical standpoint?
Look at the actual dollars spent compared to today as a way of measuring economic growth over the last 70 years.
Look at CBO projections for the next 5 years which of course are more conservative than Administration projects.
Can we talk about economics without cherry picking numbers for political talking points?
