Re: Reading and Understanding (Was Gamma Ray Flashes)

Nick, I’m trying to understand your comments.😕

I did read and understand the words and the concepts that are recorded in the four mentioned websites, namely: http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2010/29jan_firefly.htm?list973507 ,
http://library.thinkquest.org/C006027/html-ver/es-gamma.html , http://www.answers.com/topic/x-ray-tube , and http://science.nasa.gov/newhome/headlines/ast07jan99_1.htm

The first one explains all that is known about TGFs, the second one explains that gamma rays are generated by radioactive nuclei, the third one explains that X-rays can be generated by accelerating electrons with high voltages and allowing the fast moving electrons to bombard against metal atoms, in the fourth one there is this statement:

“Instruments aboard DE-1 and Polar have provided strong evidence that the magnetotail is filled by electrified gas not from the solar wind, as scientists had first thought, but from the earth's own atmosphere.”

In my first post I wondered if there are more “gamma ray flashes” in the upper atmosphere now than there was before our “atomic age” and if the climate change is somehow tied to such effects.

Even if such a thought is un-scientific in your opinion, I still would appreciate a scientific answers to such questions.❗

Are you inferring that I re-iterate my theories on Off Topic?❓

Unfortunately I am very busy these days, so you will need to find the archives, where I go to more detail about the idea.
