There's a slim possibility that he's pulling her leg, too.
My own dreams tend to involve complex tasks I have to accomplish in many different areas. Chores. Many times I wake up and the feeling is relief: "Thank God I don't really have to finish that!" I have no idea if I talk during these dreams, but it would probably be really boring.
