Two party system at risk
I didn't think it was possible, but they are getting even more radicalized.
With the GOP increasingly pushing to the extreme right fringe, it would be a good thing for a third center-right party to emerge. Or more likely the Tea Party will formally split with the GOP and peel off all the wingnuts, and the remaining GOP moderates might then actually appeal to moderate Americans.
