Project Ozma was the granddaddy of SETI.
Project OZMA and SETI have both looked for
evidence of ET radio signals over the past
50 years.

And after 50 years, and millions of dollars - nothing.
Not a peep from the cosmos.

Frank Drake, who started Project Ozma, and is already 79 years old
may end up disappointed as he nears his end; having never received
comformation of ET signals.

I wonder if detecting any hypothetical ET radio signals
will really bring a feeling of lasting satisfaction and epiphany
to those SETI members in the hunt?
They might not like and even end up fearing the message they receive
from the cosmos if it ever arives.
