If you eat any commercially prepared products, you're going to go over what is healthy for you to eat by way of salt. Many people, including me, are supposed to limit salt intake but you can't do that if you eat commercially prepared products. There aren't that many low sodium products out there. Frankly, I don't have the time (or the capability due to disability) to search for products. I'm having to do my grocery shopping on-line now. So I have one of two choices: eat the shit I can get or don't eat. Once I am retired, things will change because I will have more time to prepare my own food and I can tell the commercial food people to stick it up their salt intake valve.

This has been needed for a long time and the industry was NOT going to do it on their own. The don't give a fuck about your health, my health or if people die. All they care about are profits. And if you don't know that, you are incorrigibly naive or stupid. Bayer has been making an insecticide for some time now and they knew that it was killing the bees and they didn't care. In Europe, a couple of countries have banned the products and the European Union is headed that way. But the U.S.? As usual, the lobbyists will get into high gear, buy off the Congress and everybody else they have to and you can watch bad things happen. But Bayer will be making money! And that's all you or any of the Republicans care about.
