It was 20 years ago today.
HST has made its home in space over the last 20 years, and made it a profitable stay.
1) It imaged the Shoemaker Levy 9 comet impact
on Jupiter.
2) It imaged the awesome Eagle Nebula TWICE.
3) It imaged the remnant of Supernova 1987a.
4) It imaged Pluto and Charon as separate bodies.
5) It produced the first direct image of a Jupiter-sized exoplanet around Fomalhaut.
