Garlic, salt and pepper. But sometimes I like to try something different.
Years ago there was a roadhouse halfway between Nevada (MO) and Fort Scott (KS). Every so often we'd drive out there to have a steak. They served the biggest damn Porterhouses you've ever seen and they must have marinated them in garlic. My God, they were good! I never could finish one but my Dad ate his and then the rest of mine and anyone else's who didn't finish.
Garlic is an antibiotic and antiviral and just about everything else. The reason I survived my youth was those garliced steaks. I'm convinced of it. Certainly no vampire got ahold of me. Parents may want to institute garlic night since vampires and werewolves seem to prowling again.
