As I've said elsewhere, it's a target-rich environment. Here's a few things from the past two days that all deserve attention and discussion of the political implications:
- Robert Byrd's death and his history
- The Supreme Court decision on the Second Amendment, and the ruling details
- Joe Biden's conversation with a small business owner
- The details of the new financial regulations - who got left out and why
- "Cap and Trade" already costing jobs
- G20 and the continuing "violent right-wingers" meme
- G20, period.
- An update on "no tax increases on the middle class"
- Bernanke and his temptation to fire up the printing presses big time
- The specific obstacles government has placed in the way of oil spill cleanup
- Iran moving forward with nuclear weapons while thumbing its nose at the world
I just don't have the time, frankly.
