Is "busted" a word?
From an AP story
^BP was encouraged Friday by results from an experimental cap shutting in oil from its busted Gulf of Mexico well...^
That was the headline in the SeattleTimes and local TV anchors read it verbatim.
I don't think I like the "Gulf of Mexico well" either. Even though storys are written at the forth grade level, It wouldn't hurt to be a little more formal don't ya think???
