I'm also quite sure there are plenty of Democrats who practice weapons-grade racism.
And the article in TB's initial post demonstrates an *immense* failure on the part of the media.
I'm fearful though, that the political divide is going to get much wider before it shows any sign of healing. People just aren't generally attracted to the center. They're pulled to the edges, where all the shouting and excitement is. The Olberman's and the Coulter's are banking on it.
