I wasn't able to listen to the whole broadcast, but one of the participants, Col Macgregor (Ret), was completely damning of our presence in Afghanistan.
He seems to be saying that we went for the wrong reasons, are now staying for the same, and our interests are not at all served by our presence there. Fascinating. Have to catch the rest of it online.
