Again, the basic drift of the actual report is "we don't know the answers, but this is our guess, and this is what might be true." Like some other science issues, it's all about the hypothetical now.
What is certain in the report is that the scientists say a lot more funding for studies is needed.
What is also certain is that that "70 to 79 percent" number, and those pie charts, will be universal gospel in the media within a day or so. Watch for the news stories.
