Anecdote
Recently a friend moved to Malaysia for the Boeing company. Here is part of an email I recieved:
Work is good. Getting settled into new job. Thai people are nice, food is really good. Malay people are nice too, even though Muslims typically do not like Westerners. Or Thais. Or anybody.
You have to wonder if the "religion of peace" is just that, or was Phil's perception of the facts more accurate...
