Anybody else watching this ? It is billed as an experiment in human behavior after a biological disaster wipes out most of humanity.

The participants are located in a deserted apartment complex left over from Katrina in New Orleans. They are supposed to fend for themselves to provide food, shelter, security and whatever comforts they can conjure. An outlaw element is included to test their ability to defend themselves.

It all seems more staged than it should be. In the second episode they supposedly made bio-diesel from some dead pig carcasses. It would not have been possible to make diesel as simply as they did it. Basically they just cooked the oil out of the pigs, strained it and it worked fine. They would have needed lye and other additives to use animal fats.

It is entertaining just for the dumb mistakes they make. In reality they would all be dead early on if the situation was real.
