Photo glitches

It's common to see old films where things like wagon wheel spokes or helicopter blades exhibit that weird "strobing" between the film speed and the rotation where the rotation seems to slow or even reverse. So common was this that digital special effects sometimes artificially duplicate the illusion to, ironically, "enhance" the impression of reality for the movie watcher.

And of course, with still cameras anything moving faster than the shutter speed will be blurred.

Turns out that digital cameras can have weird glitches of their own when taking pictures of very fast objects.
