Hard to tell how that's going to work without all the details, but something is fishy when there was a option for the buildings to remain public yet they elected to go the private route. Still it looks like a lot of wasted money down the road.
Not much help for the 19 billion dollar deficit. Calif's employee retirement pension deficit is around 6 billion which continues to rise higher than its revenues. And with this year so far 158 companies have left Calif compared to 51 all of last year so things are not looking good for the golden state.
