If Brown is elected along with a strong Democratic assembly, the most likely result will be higher taxes, massive new "environmental" attacks on business, removal of Prop 13, more union influence, huge increases in spending, and more businesses leaving for greener pastures. Did I mention higher taxes? This state is already near the bottom for being attractive to business. Of course, to a "progressive" that's not a bug, it's a feature.
The last Democratic governor got the boot. Arnold started out strong (I voted for McClintock), but he went completely limp as soon as he ran into serious opposition. Might as well be a Democrat now. I wouldn't pick Meg Whitman as my top choice now, but Brown is a loose cannon.
Wish I had a Chris Christie to vote for.
