I believe it's less about destroying another culture than it is about reclaiming our own. You can't compete with another culture unless you believe in yours.

As far as I can tell, American culture, and Western culture in a broader sense, is the only one whose own cultural elite is trying to destroy it.

Try and find any other culture - China, India, you name it - that believes it has no real right to exist, is the source of most of the problems of the world, and needs to be chained or remade. Whatever else you can say about Chinese culture, it's for China, and no two ways about it.
