I don't think anyone who has not been to war can truly understand the horror and degradation of the experience.
Wolfe (Slick) and RNE brought a lot of the experience home to me but still I could only relate to so much as a bystander. But I felt their pain and knew it to be very, very real.
Bless all those who have ever served, and those to come who will serve. May those who gave the highest sacrifice rest in peace and be held closely in the protective, loving arms of their Creator. May their families and loved ones be given comfort.
