I made no comment on the justice or injustice of what we did.
Personally, I happen to agree with our support. However, we dropped the ball after the Russians left and should have stayed to help rebuild the country. In this instance, the Republicans did a good thing (Charlie Wilson) and the Democrats who came into power subsequently, screwed the pooch. We have them to thank for the rise of the Taliban, etc.
All I was saying is that what is sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander. I think we're being goosed. 😮
