On the importance of waiting for the facts
Gabrielle Giffords seems to be pulling through, and recent reports even have her communicating with doctors.
Earlier today, many news sources with a reputation for reliability had reported her dead. Enough of them that I believed it and posted it here.
I couldn't be happier that they were wrong, but the 48 hour rule - or at least a 12 hour one - seems to be a better idea every day.
