"Jing: King of Bandits (王ドロボウJING, Ō Dorobou Jing?), also known as King of Bandit Jing, is a seven volume manga series by Yuichi Kumakura about the adventures of the bandit Jing and his partner Kir. The manga was adapted into a 13 episode anime series produced by Aniplex and directed by Hiroshi Watanabe as well as a Game Boy game released in 2000 by Messiah (released only in Japan)."

I haven't heard a word about it, so I have no recommendation.

I've read a little manga, but it's usually something that was an anime that I liked a lot. Genshiken, for example. Ah, and Azumanga Daioh. I do like the humor-centric, slice of life shows. I learned to read on comics, though, so I'm certainly not hostile to adventure stuff.
