Encounters
Reminds me of the Eros Valentine encounter ten years ago. I was on a cruise ship, they had internet, but my wife didn't think there was anything romantic about going to the Internet Room to check out pictures of a hunk of space rock that looked like a potato.
It was exciting back then and still is.
I think it was the first flyby http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/planetary/image/near_20000212_anim.gif\animation I ever saw on the net back in the MSNBC board days.
