And now, I am going to very gently point out what the liberal opinion around here was of some groups in Texas promoting secession for political reasons. Maybe you'll remember it too before you start throwing the word "hypocrite" around. A hypocrite is someone who thinks something is wonderful when their guys are doing it, but a crime against humanity when the other guys are doing it.
Yelling at a town meeting is not the same as disrupting actual government, and for the record I don't approve of anyone trying to make their point by shouting down their opponents with mindless crap so they can't speak.
If the Federal government gets shut down, it will be because the Democrats deeply want that to happen. If you're watching the debates, you know that as well as I do. Shutdown was a good political move for the Democrats back in 94, but I think they may find it ain't 1994 anymore.
I've noticed something interesting in the past couple of years: The usual tried-and-true Democratic political weapons seem to be firing a lot of blanks nowadays. It's also interesting that a lot of Democrats haven't picked that up yet. In fact, they're making a number of stupid mistakes.
Maybe it's a case of reverse evolution - the lack of opposition and shielding by media allies may have bred a lot brains out of the political species. If you look at their behavior right now, a lot of Democrats seem to have completely suppressed the 2010 election. It never happened. It's like an animal who has been attacked by alligators going back to the very same pond the next day. What excuse does a human brain have?
