Re: Media meltdown
I'm not deeply immersed in the "media loop," but I've not heard any of the kinds of things that blogger is going on the defensive against. I'd not encountered anyone using the words "nuclear explosion," for example, until I read his blog. NPR has repeated over and over again that this isn't another Chernobyl.
Personally I think the media is being fairly cautious and truly trying not to cause undo panic.
