But leave aside the issue of bad taste, posting that image, I ask: What if?
What if the Soviet officials had been a little more patient, and waited perhaps 2 months longer until all the problems and bugs in those early Soyuz capsules had been ironed out?
Assuming that would have (hypothetically) happened, and a successful Soyuz-1 and 2 docking in Earth orbit
and safe return to Earth took place in June or July 1967? What then?
What would such a hypothetical success have lead to?
My gut feeling is that the follow up Soyuz-3 mission
(possibly in October, 1967) would have been a docking with an unmanned Soyuz; both loaded with enough propellant for a delta-V of over 1,200 m/s.
Soyuz-3 would then have become the first manned spacecraft to have reached the "lip" of Earth's
gravitational well, 4000 miles up.

That's a sickening photo!
