Why Odyssey? The beginning of a long series of adventures? Doesn't seem to fit Obama's claim that this adventure will only take days not weeks. I suspect from that claim Obama is itching to rid himself from the operation passing it off to NATO or the Arabic League and then claim victory, but why the name Odyssey?

Then there is Dawn. First light, morning or daybreak, heck the missions and first strike is usually performed in the dark of night to take advantage of the opposition. I don't get it. Maybe I'm not supposed to.

I know Obama didn't pick the name, but his administration vetted it for political correctness and it just seems out of place with the nature of what we know of his strategy for the Libya conflict.
