Very cool
This is interesting:
Lockheed will deliver a second hybrid airship to Aviation Capital in late-2012 for launching certification tests with the US Federal Aviation Administration...
So Lockheed will deliver a copy to a Canadian company that is planning to sell it to an American buyer? If not, why isn't Aviation Capital Enterprises (ACE, gotta love it) planning to certify it with Transport Canada? (Perhaps they'll do that as well.) Or do they have to certify with the FAA in anticipation of the Canadian-owned craft possibly being used in the US at some point?
(And yes, the required shout-out to my old home town: Go Calgary!)
