Constitutionality of attack on Libya
The war powers resolution gives the president 60 days. There are constitutional questions about the war powers act itself. Regardless, my reservations on this are the inevitable mission creep. Protecting civilians will without a doubt evolve to supporting the rebels, which will mean military force to implement regime change.
I agree the reaction from the right is laughable. Drawing comparisons to GWB's Iraq invasion is like comparing a mugger to someone saving a person from a mugger.
