The more I learn, the scarier web-surfing, shopping becomes
I'm one of those people that pisses off the executive quoted in this. I frequently tell gmail to report an e-mail as SPAM. If I'd wanted to hear from the company, I'd have let THEM know. SPAM me and I report it if I can. The fact that it puts a monkey wrench in their works just tickles the crap out of me.
But I wonder how we can either stop having our info stored in these third party marketing firms or regulate how it's done or make sure it's encrypted? Before you start screaming, TB, I don't like the idea of another damned regulation but it's obvious these people aren't going to do it on their own and we don't even know they're doing it so how the hell are we supposed to make sure our info isn't compromised?!!!!!!
