The great race
Bubble? Sorta. More like an egg, with the growing embryo consuming every resource available to get the strength to break the shell.
Will we have enough energy to get out there? Or will we get just so close, and run out of the stuff we need to escape: energy, brain power, resources, money, dedication, cooperation, innovation...? Or will we fail just short of the goal?
We are on the cusp of humanity, it will break one way or the other, and do so within the next 50 years.
