Try explaining water to a fish. Watch the video. You've got the right idea, you just think no one else can see it, so you view everything they say or think with contempt. If your description of social reality were as straightforward as you think it is, you wouldn't be such a failure at communicating your position or persuading others as to its validity. You would make an awful politician, unless you lived in a world populated with people just like you.
