My artist, Mr Fritz Seegers, has sent me the illustrations for the Sharpie article I shared with you folks a few days back. I've uploaded them onto one of the image galleries, Space Images II, for your inspection. There are 4, I'll list them so you can more easily locate them.
Sharpie in the Mangroves;
Montage with boat, Commodore and hull lines profile;
Exploded hull view; and
Workshop interior still life.
These are large images, so you'll have to display them, then right click "View" to see them at screen size. There is some slight undersampling after they are reduced in size, it goes away when you zoom in. High resolution is needed for magazine reproduction, so they have to be big images. I had trouble loading and displaying them, but they are all there now. Enjoy.
Fritz is really good, he's a commercial illustrator and sailor, but we've never met face to face, he lives in Michigan. Our collaboration has been entirely over the internet and quite remarkable. He reads my story, sends me scans of pencil sketches, I comment on them, and then he sends me the final illos. He's illustrated about 20 of my articles over the last four or five years.
