Tom, you keep on trotting out the same figures which justify why those with little must give up more, and those with much must not yield anything at all. You'll have to forgive me if I don't respond, not only can I not match your research skills or sheer volume of numbers, you never accept any of my sources anyway. Liberal economists or their interpretations are simply not to be believed in your time line.
Still, your blizzard of numbers still manages to fail to address the salient fact: less and less people are making more and more money, and more and more people are earning less and less. It is inevitable that these two facts be intimately correlated, if not causal.
Your pious protestations and numerical smoke and mirrors are precisely what you would expect from a rapidly diminishing group who has stumbled into a fantastic windfall and is trying to make sure no one else notices. If the rich are paying more taxes, its only because they have more money.
What I can't figure out is what's in it for you. Do you think they monitor these boards and will send you a nice reward for sticking up for them? Or have they managed to convince you that if they get their way your own prosperity will improve because your own entrepreneurial instincts will blossom in the Libertarian paradise to come.
Don't bet your life on either one.
