International law permits combatants to stop ambulances and medical crews from entering a "War Zone".
International law also insists that if that is the case then the party enforceing that blockade MUST supply medical teams of thier own to aid the civilian wounded.... Which Israel refused to do.
And under no circumstances may armed forces fire upon clearly marked ambulances or medical teams... something Israel has done from the very first.
