What the heck the source of a weapon's manufacture has to do with the real arguments in the Mideast situation is more than I can see. I'll bet that every single weapon that has caused civilian casualties in Afhanistan recently, was also made in the U.S. Gasp! What a revelation!

This indignation from Fisk over the use of American weapons by the Israelis* is particularly amusing when watching him break his spine bending over backwards to try and gloss over and "explain away" arms shipments from Iran and other places to the Palestinians.

*Israel is required to use the military aid we give them to buy U.S. weapons. A nice deal for the arms manufacturers.
