I was not accusing her of screwing up. Like I pointed out, she's a loan officer, not a cop, and should not be held to the same standards as we hold the FBI. And I'm not at all sure I would have reacted any differently. Our minds tend to be full of things like what time do I pick up the kids, and what about that lunch tomorrow, and the subtle stuff tends to go over our heads. I'm no different.

And as you rightly point out, her report would have probably just wound up as another unconnected "dot" in the puzzle. Would probably have made no difference, and I hope she's not too hard on herself. I know at least one or two of the flight instructors in the flying schools the terrorists attended have come down on themselves pretty hard.
