I hope that, should you ever be wrongfully accused of murder or rape and your freedom hinges on the ability of a jury of your peers to understand the DNA evidence that will clear you in what might otherwise be a damning circumstantial case, your attitude about the state of scientific education among the sludge class will be equally equanimious.
Perhaps you will be lucky, and a few academic pinheads will be chosen to be on the jury. After all, "peer" in law is different than "peer" in other aspects of life. We can't all be the cream like yourself.
