I've had the rare pleasure of observing these miscreants at close range, being an ex-employee of the ill-fated Enron.

The funny thing is, about a month before the meltdown I sent Key Lay a hot email in response to his invitation with what he called "Lay it on the Line".

I laid it, and he hung me with the line.

My angst was aroused because Enron uses contractors in my field, CAD generated engineer drawings, but they refuse to negotiate with the individual, insisting that they are hired through an
agent, who sucks up half your pay.

When I laid it on Ken's line he wasn't pleased.

In retrospect, I am tempted to gloat, but too many fine people suffered irrepairable harm in that fiasco. I can only hope that Ken's line get's yanked up tight, and the noose at the other end is around his neck!
