The drug companys!!! The goverment funds the development of 85% of the drugs licensed, they spend 2 times as much on advertising and administration as research and development, and they have conservatives convinced that if it weren't for them we'd all die an early death.

The drug companies can sell their wares (development paid for by Uncle Sugar) for 25% to 33% of their US prices out of the country and make a profit. They scam, cheat and rob the public, and conservatives think it's just wonderful. And proud of themselves.

Remember - twice as much on advertising as on research. Twice.
