If you dump radioactive waste into lava, you get molten radioactive waste. Assuming the lava is hot enough to melt whatever element you're dealing with. It would have absolutely no effect on the radioactivity, although it might diffuse the waste around a larger area, resulting in lower exposures at any given point.
